Ideation and Prototyping
The main umbrella was to design for a social cause, which we call responsible design; designing for others' needs to help fix a problem or improve their life.
Since I love designing for kids, I have made the kids the main target audience. I analyzed the youngest generation (Gen Alpha) and compared it with the oldest generation. And in short, I discovered the following:
Generation Alpha has a lower attention span.
Their fine motor skills were weak due to excessive use of the touch screen.
They feel bored when playing with the physical games due to lack of simulation similar to video games.
From these 3 main problems, we were asked to think of many solutions. From these…we developed prototypes for some ideas
Based on the interest of this tech-savvy generation, Some prototypes were focused on tech solutions, some with half tech half physical solutions, and some with totally physical solutions.
